HELP
FIELDS OF DREAMS SUPPORT ITS 7th ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP!
Fields of
Dreams offers a free, six-week, all-day summer camp that
combines 3 hours of baseball/physical fitness with 3 hours of
hands-on academic enrichment as well as field trips.
According to
the Johns Hopkins University Center for Summer Learning, 2/3
of the country's academic achievement gap, can be explained by
unequal access to quality summer learning opportunities.
Help FoD to close the achievement gap!
A gift of:
$50 will
provide supplies for one young Dreamer (t-shirt, hat, glove,
books)
$150 will
provide one class with books to participate in a summer Fields
of Dreams reading challenge
$300 will
provide an opportunity for 15 young Dreamers and their
teachers and coaches to attend a field trip to an academic
site (Smithsonian, National Zoo, etc)
$550 will
cover the cost to send one young to attend the six-week camp.
$1100 will
cover the cost for 2 young Dreamers to attend the six-week
camp.
